Rural independent Rob Oakeshott will spend the next few days considering the offer of a regional affairs ministry with the new Labor minority government.
In making his decision, the Member for Lyne says he's looking at the South Australian model where a National Party MP worked as a minister within a Labor government, and whether that could be achieved at a federal level.
